Rules of Conduct & Discipline

  • Students must be punctual and regular to classes. They should reach the school atleast 10 minutes earlier to the commencement of the assembly. The school gate will be kept closed and the students who report much too early will not be allowed to enter the school. They must also leave within 15 minutes after the classes are over.
  • Students arriving late will not be allowed to enter the school.
  • During class tests late arrival is not allowed .
  • Leave for half day is not allowed .
  • Students cannot leave the school premises without showing the Identity Card.
  • Students, absent or coming late will have to complete Regularity Card duly signed by guardians. In case of illness over three days a medical certificate in addition to regularity Card has to be submitted.
  • The Prerequisite for appearing in any examination is 75% Attendance. If a student is short of same he\she must obtain a permission from the principal before he\she appears in an examination.
  • Every individual student is responsible for keeping the School premises neat and clean.
  • Students should wear neat and clean school uniforms every day.
  • Non-Sikh boys should get their hair cut at intervals.
  • Students are required to address their teacher/members of the managing committee/non-teaching staff with due respect and politeness. They are expected to always behave in a manner befitting the dignity of the school.
  • Damage done to school property by pupil, should be replaced by the guardian of the student concerned.
  • Student must come to school with their lessons prepared.
  • Sunday is weekly holiday unless otherwise notified. Depending on requirement, there may be extra classes for which advance notice will be given to the classes concerned. Students must attend seriously and earnestly the special classes when organised by the school.
  • In the event of the student not appearing for his/her assessment/class test due to his/her absence from the school, there shall be no re-assessment for the student.
  • Students must maintain silence as soon as a teacher enters the class.

Library Rules For Students

  • Each book issued to a student must be returned within the dye date stamped / written on the date label.
  • No student will be allowed to enter the library without the permission of the librarian.
  • Borrowers will be held responsible for the loss or damage of books. If so, he / she will be required to compensate the library in a manner to be determined by the librarian.
  • Silence should be maintained strictly by each and every student inside the library. Talking, loitering or disturbing other readers in any way will not be allowed.

Important Note To The Guardians

  • Tuition fees are payable in advance before 15th of the current month, failing which a late fee of 50 will be levied up to the end of the month.
  • All fees up to July  must be paid before the 1st Assessment begins. All fees up to November  must be paid before the 2nd Assessment starts. All fees up to March  must be paid before the Annual Examination starts.
  • Students should concentrate on study more on their own at home. They should participate in various co-curricular activities of the school.
  • Students must bring their school Diaries to class every day and that should be pursued by Guardians at home.
  • Guardians are not permitted to meet the teachers when in class. If they are keen to know the progress of their wards or if called by the teacher, he/she may come to the reception and show the written slip/diary and then meet the teacher concerned on notified days.
  • Any change in address/telephone number must immediately be notified to the school in writing.
  • Students are shown their Assessment -scripts so that they may detect their mistakes and attempt to rectify them. It is the overall performance of the student which will determine his/her promotion to the next higher class.
  • Parents are requested not to send sick children to school. Weekly

study report of home assignments must be submitted to the principal once a week by the parents of children, who are studying in classes VII, IX and X, XII. This is mandatory to maintain a high level  of academic excellence throughout the year.
